The home was as described and very lovely. We enjoyed the space and generous amenities. We had to troubleshoot internet/cable not working and PHE was responsive and amazing about resolving it very quickly.

Large home on a quiet cul de sac
We stayed here for 4 nights around our son's wedding in Kiawah. It was great to find a rental allowing Friday and Saturday night stays (not strictly Saturday check out). Each of the 4 bedrooms had a separate bath and 3 had large (king)beds. So it lent itself to a mostly adult stay. That was us.

Manager Response: Hi David, thank you for your review. We're glad we were able to host your family for your son's wedding and that the home worked well for your group. Hope to see you on Kiawah again soon!

Not perfect but close.
Great home with lots of space. Location is a 2 minute bike ride to beach or 5 minute walk. Nice part of Island if looking for a little less crowded, but is a fairly long drive to Freshfields.
Would definitely stay here again!

We have rented this house several times and have been pleased each time. We particularly enjoy the spacious layout, the proximity to the beach and the original art in the home. PHE responded quickly to our request for minor repairs. Thanks to all for making this home available to us.

Family Trip to the Beach
The house was wonderful and just as described. It sits on a quiet cul-de-sac and is very close to the beach. We have stayed on Kiawah a few times and love this end of the beach as it is a little more private. Beach chairs and umbrellas can be rented right off of the beach access point closest to the house which was nice on the days we didn’t want to explore the island.
We have used Pam Harrington before and will absolutely use them again! They are great (thanks again Amy for dealing with us!). We would highly recommend both this house and Pam Harrington.

our stay at 411 Ocean Oaks, Kiawah Island, SC
The house was beautiful and spacious, and had an elegant appearance overall. We were close to the beach, so it was easy to walk or bike there. We biked all over the island. The restaurants on the island were updated since we were there last year, and we had several nice meals and good service close by.

Memorable Week at 411 Ocean Oaks
Our group of 3 couples loved this house. Among us, we have rented many vacation rentals and we all agreed this was one of the best. We enjoyed being a bit further out on the island than we have been in other Kiawah stays...with very close access to the beach by walking or bike as well as easy bike access to the marshes, Blue Heron pond, and other natural features replete with wildlife and atmospheric beauty. The house itself is very thoughtfully designed, spacious, full of natural light, well stocked, beautifully appointed, and graced with exquisite original art. A plus was that the garage was available for bicycle and other storage. It is located on a lagoon where we regularly enjoyed seeing a great egret, blue heron, other bird life, turtles, and, of course, the resident alligator. Our only recommendation for improvement would be the furnishings for the outdoor spaces...something for the upstairs deck, for the screened porch: new chairs for the table...maybe a larger table, and chairs to also enjoy the small back lawn. We had brought portable chairs that served the purpose. Overall this was a wonderful experience that surpassed our expectations. The Pam Harrington Exclusives staff was terrific to work with and we would definitely rent 411 Ocean Oaks again.

Dream Vacation
This house was absolutely gorgeous and comfortable. It was the perfect home for our family vacation. Full of amenities, clean with beautiful furniture, it's just a cozy home away from home. The beach is just a quick bike ride or walk away. FreshFields is about a 15 minute drive. We enjoyed events at Night Heron Park and at the Ocean Course. Would absolutely rent this home again. I highly recommend it! The only item that was missing was a highchair, which the listing said would be available.

Four couples - all family - plus infant
The home was the most beautiful we have ever rented, filled with serene Impressionistic original art. The high ceilings and white rooms filled the house with light, which we loved. It was truly just a five minute walk to the beach. The house was as immaculate as Kiawah itself - everything very first class. It was unfortunate for us that we were there during a heat wave and it was too hot for us to enjoy much outdoor time other than the beach. We enjoyed the walking trails early every morning and the guys played golf - but just once because it was so hot (and expensive). One limitation was the quality of the knives, cookware and serving dishes. We are all foodies and decided the owners aren't. We don't watch much TV, but were disappointed that there wasn't a place we could watch the Baseball All Stars game together. (The TV in the living room is small and not conveniently placed for a group.) But that was a small distraction from a serene vacation with dear family members. The young couple with a baby had the upstairs mega-master bedroom complete with a crib provided. Five stars - all 'round.

We had a great experience. The home is spacious and accommodates 8 adults comfortably. The open design in the main level allows those in the kitchen to enjoy their guests. Another great feature is all the bathrooms. Residence is very clean and updated.

Quiet and secluded home beyond second gate
The design and layout of the home was superb. The location and proximity to the beach was perfect. The property was clean and well maintained. The management company checked on us to see if everything was going well. I would stay at this property again.
My two recommendations would be to change the shower curtains and increase the available utensils.
Our two restaurant recommendations would be Chez Fish on Betsy Kerrison Parkway and 39 Rue de Jean in Charleston, as well as going to the Mingo Point Oyster Roast.

Fun in the sun
The rental was perfect. we had three families state at the house and we all had our own wing. Walk to the beach was nice took about 15-20 minutes with three kids under 4. We go to see an aligator in the lagon right by the house. We would rent this house again.

Family of 6 + grandparents
The home was beautiful. The original artwork was great to see all throughout the home. The location to the beach was just a few minutes away on a bike. It was an unusually cool week with quite a bit of rain, but we still had a great time and the kids loved the beach. We also rode bikes on the bike paths and the beach and the scenery was beautiful. Every room has it's own full bath which was wonderful. Pam Harrington was great to work with and we have nothing but good things to say about our stay at 411 Ocean Oaks!!!

Great House VERY Close to the Beach
We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and this house was definitely near the top of the list. This house is basically across the street from the beach access. It is very spacious with a great layout. The high ceilings and open floor plan were great. The original artwork in the house was a constant conversation piece. The Pam Harrington Group was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, spacious home
The kitchen could use more pots, pans, cooking implements and lighter weight dishes. Suggestion: please stock homes with salt, pepper and sugar even if only in packets.

Excellence!!
In my opinion, Pam Harrington Rentals, is the best property rental agency on the island. I recommend it to all associates and friends.

A Fantastic Vacation Home!
Really beautiful home, much larger than it appears in the photo. Every room has its own bathroom and it comfortably sleeps 8. Very convenient to the beach. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go back. The owners are really great to work with as well.

We vacation at Kiawah often and have rented from Pam Harrington before. The experience has always been positive and the properties very nice The staff at Pam Harrington is helpful and responds very quickly and courteously. Our property this year was extremely spacious and offered everything needed for a wonderful, relaxing week! Our thanks to the property owners and to Pam Harrington Rentals

We loved the original artwork that adorned the home. The location was wonderful and the home was lovely. The only negatives were that we couldn't get the computer network to work and we had a problem at the beginning of the week with some mosquitos in the home. We killed about 20 over the first few days...mostly downstairs in the master bathroom. Still, we would stay there again in a New York minute.

Needed more bath towels - if had full house, would not have been enough.
No Wireless internet, internet did not work without renter having to fix.
As with most houses, not enough larger serving dishes.
