6 Governors Drive
Our third year at 6 Governors Dr. was outstanding. comfortable and homey. We look forward to next year if we can rent as a 3-bedroom w/o new addition. Property was well maintained with everything we needed for our stay. it was as though we were at relative's house, without the drama. Screened-in porch for UNO games at night. thank you for another great year!!

OUR STAY AT 6 GOVERNORS DRIVE
Another great two weeks at this home. Our family is already looking forward to next year. The home is super comfortable with many amenities, it was as though we were staying with friends or favorite relatives. The property managers and staff were especially friendly and available and made us feel as though we were their only concern. The paintings in the home were very beautiful. We have vacationed on Kiawah for over 30 years, this is our new favorite place to stay. Close to the clean sandy beach by bike. We enjoyed grilling and the firepit is just right for roasting marshmallows. We enjoyed fishing, biking, walking, the beach, the nature center, and we look forward to the new food court. and bakery. Thank you, owners and property managers, for a great stay.

A great place to stay on Kiawah Island -
We thourouly enjoyed being in this home. As soon as we walked in it felt as though we were visiting close relatives. The house was warm, welcoming, well-equipped and surprisingly insect free. An interesting floor plan and room layout. Two covered screened in decks and a front porch were especially inviting. All rooms had separate baths, a welcomed plus, as were the abundance of other features not usually available to guests. Convenient to the beach. Of the over 70 houses at which we stayed over the last 28 years, 1,2 3,4,and 5 bedrooms, on the beach, near the beach or else where, this house is one of our favorite houses. Our property manager was very attentive to all our needs. Oh, we received a nice bike discount, too.

Christmas at Kiawah
We have been to Kiawah many times, and always enjoy the experience. 6 Governor's Drive met our high expectations. It is conveniently located near the intersection of Governor's Drive and Flyway Drive. The home is approximately one mile from the beach via the Allee of Oaks. The home was beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was excellent. The bathrooms were very nice. We loved the home. We would definitely stay at this home again.

6 Governors Drive
Very nice house. Photo’s don’t do it justice. Very large living room. Overlooks back screened in porch. Kitchen is the most well equipped kitchen we have ever stayed in. Lots of space with large windows, so very bright. Pretty front porch with seating. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. New backyard deck with a Gas fire pit table. Our kids made s’mores one evening. It’s about a mile or so to beach and easy to cycle to. We also cycled further into east side of island to see beautiful scenery, trails, lagoons. The house is spotless, and felt safe there during pandemic. Also beautiful artwork throughout house. Lots of games just in case of rain. Very nice neighborhood. Butlers pantry has coffee maker, wine fridge, washer, dryer, sink. Very convenient.
This is a great spacious house to rent.

Perfect Home For Family Time
Our 2 adult children and families joined us for the Thanksgiving week on Kiawah. We selected this home based on the photos. We were very pleased upon arriving to 6 Governors Dr. The home is set far enough off the street and in a beautiful setting. We found the home to be quality and beautifully appointed. Very nice kitchen, upgraded bathrooms, very comfortable beds and high quality bedding. Everything we could need or want was in this home, as if we had selected it ourselves. it provided a quiet and comfortable stay. We had prearranged to have bikes delivered for each family member so was able to ride every day by crossing directly across the street to join the Kiawah bike paths. In addition, we were able to enjoy beautiful paintings throughout the home. We plan to be back.

Summer 2016
It was wonderful! This house was absolutely perfect for us. It had everything we needed. Even a football! My children had forgotten theirs at home and were delighted to see one in the home's vast game closet!

6 Governors Drive
Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was wonderful to have a kitchen fully stocked with all the dishes, pots/pans, and cooking tools that are necessary to make a great meal. The house was beautifully decorated and the owner must be a talented oil painter as witnessed by the many gorgeous landscape paintings displayed throughout the home. We were initially concerned about the distance to the beach, but once we got our bearings, it was a lovely 10 minute bike ride at most.
We will return!

Loved this house!!!
We had a great stay. It was close enough to the beach and had a hot tub. The kids loved it. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfy. Board games and a great selection of books were available. A few problems did pop up and were fixed immediately. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful family get together
We had a wonderful relaxing week at our favorite vacation spot, Kiawah Island. 6 Governor's Drive was filled with all we needed. We had beautiful areas in which to dine; inviting and relaxing areas to visit and watch tv; great sleeping accommodations for all; and a gourmet kitchen for cooking. The only thing that would have improved our stay was to have had wireless internet service in the home.

Any family who stays at 6 Governor's Drive will be delighted to have stayed there, it is a wonderful place to stay

6 Governors Drive
We loved our stay at the above location and tried to rent it again for this seummer, but unfortunately, we were late in booking and missed securing this house for 2008. It is top on my list for next summer. It is a beautiful, comfortable home in a great location.

Outstanding..
We loved everything about 6 Governor's. It was a wonderful home that has a screened-in porch, plenty of space, and wonderful kitchen, living room & foyer area. Although we did not expect the amount of wildlife in the area (deer, snakes, & alligators), it did not take away from the beauty of the home. I would definely love to stay there again.

Everything was wonderful and way more than we expected. Sometimes it's hard to know what you are getting reviewing rental homes online, but this home exceeded our expectations, as well as Kiawah Island in general. WOW! We plan on returning to Kiawah Island maybe next summer, this summer was already booked to return to this house and we are expecting a baby next month, so we decided to return next year.
