Annual Christmas Events in Kiawah Island
Cookie Decorating at The Sanctuary
Every Saturday following Thanksgiving to Christmas at 11 a.m. in The Morning Room. This kid-themed Kiawah Island holiday event is fun for children of all ages! Sponsored by the Town of Kiawah Island, it is free to participate. However, reservations are required.

Saturdays in December, $15/kit (Available for purchase at The Lobby Lounge)
Join us on the Grand Lawn at The Sanctuary for one of the tastiest Kiawah Island holiday events! Enjoy fireside s’mores and hot cocoa while sitting under the stars.
Bring the children; story time with Mrs. Claus begins at 5:30 p.m. Afterward, come inside for Christmas carols with our pianist. (This event is weather-dependent.)

On Christmas Eve, The Ocean Room and Jasmine Porch will serve menus enhanced by seasonal specials. Celebrate the evening by savoring the fresh gourmet cuisine offered at The Ocean Room or by sampling Lowcountry and regional favorites at Jasmine Porch.

The Atlantic Room

Delight in an enchanting holiday dinner in The Atlantic Room overlooking the ocean, at The Ocean Course Clubhouse. Celebrate the season by savoring the winter inspired menu prepared by Executive Chef John Ondo.
Tomasso at Turtle Point
- Feast of the Seven Fishes, 5 pm -8 pm
- 5 courses for $65, or $90 with wine pairings
Tomasso carries on the Italian Christmas Eve tradition with its own feast!
The Feast of the Seven Fishes (Festa dei Sette Pesci), also known as The Vigil (La Vigilia) and celebrated on Christmas Eve, is a tradition from Southern Italy.
The ritual of eating seafood on Christmas Eve dates from medieval Italian times, where meat markets were closed on specific holy days.

- Traditional Dinner , 5 pm - 9 pm
The Sanctuary’s signature restaurant presents a true Christmas experience. The Ocean Room will be featuring their seasonal steakhouse menu in addition to holiday favorites. Bring the entire family - children’s holiday meals are also available!
For a more non-traditional option, the Sushi Lounge will be available for small plates and libations.

The Players Pub
- Breakfast & Lunch, 9 am - 5 pm
Pop into The Players Pub at Cougar Point Clubhouse before (or after) your Christmas Day round of championship golf.
The dining room seats up to 125 guests and the bar offers seating for 31.
Outside dining is also available on the 4,354-square-foot covered deck with gorgeous views of the sparkling lagoon and 18th green.
