1. Pelican’s Nest – Restaurant at Seabrook Beach Club

Pelican’s Nest is the perfect summertime restaurant to enjoy after a day well-spent at the beach. Here, Seabrook Island Club members and their guests can look forward to stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean along with dishes that showcase the Lowcountry’s freshest seafood and local ingredients. Other special perks include frequent dolphin sightings and live music every Friday and Saturday night of the summer.  Open Seasonally.  Club amenity card required for dining.

2. Palmetto Room – Restaurant in the Island House

The Palmetto Room is one of our favorite Seabrook Island club restaurants to visit for special occasions. This spectacular restaurant offers elevated Southern cuisine in a formal atmosphere. Guests can enjoy delicious dining options like steak, crab cakes, and fresh seafood. For a relaxing afternoon, we recommend stopping in for brunch on a Sunday!  Club amenity card required for dining. 

3. Bohicket Lounge

For a more casual dining experience, head to Bohicket Lounge on the golf side of the Island House. The lounge overlooks the Crooked Oaks and Ocean Winds golf courses. Its full bar and hearty menus make it a great place to relax and unwind after a day on the green.  Club amenity card required for dining. 

4. Wild Olive

Wild Olive is one of Charleston’s best restaurants. Their menu is full of artisanal Italian cuisine, and their wine list is extensive. Guests can choose from classics like chicken parmesan, veal scallopini, and house-made pasta dishes. Although you will need to leave the island to enjoy Wild Olive, its location on Johns Island is convenient to Seabrook Island.   Considered one of the best restaurants in all of Charleston.  

5. The Royal Tern

After a fun-filled day at Bohicket Marina, you may have seafood on your mind.  Treat your family to a special dinner at The Royal Tern.  Located on Johns Island on Maybank Highway this neighborhood seafood eatery offers a variety of favorites including seafood towers, fresh oysters, and carpaccios from the raw bar.  

6. La Tela Pizzeria

A day of shopping in Freshfields Village will work up an appetite. Luckily, you’ll find La Tela Pizzeria nearby. This Neapolitan-style pizzeria is the perfect place to grab a slice of wood-fired pizza and sample some of the Lowcountry’s best regional beers. La Pizzeria is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.

7. Tattooed Moose

No list of Lowcountry restaurants is complete without some classic, Southern-style barbecue. Famous menu items at the Tattooed Moose on Johns Island include beef brisket, Mike’s Famous Duck Club, and duck fat fries. A dog-friendly porch is available, so bring your furry friend along! Happy hour is from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
