Johns Island locals welcome this new restaurant.  The menu features fresh sushi, seafood, and a raw bar.  Cocktails such as the Dragonfruit Sake Mojito and the Nitro Manhattan are not to be missed!  Indoor and outdoor dining available.  Open 7 days a week.


Wild Olive Restaurant

A local favorite since 2009, diners appreciate executive Chef Jacque Larson’s celebration of ingredients used in the Italian-inspired menu.  Diners enjoy a warm, friendly dining experience.  House-made pasta, fresh seafood, and locally sourced produce come together in inspired dishes.  Dinner service daily from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.  Reservations are strongly recommended. 


Angel Oak Restaurant

This intimate, family-owned restaurant is a hidden gem in the Johns Island dining scene.  Jay and Nicole Kees opened this cozy space in 2012 focusing on modern southern cuisine.  Everything is made from scratch!  Lunch and dinner service and a great spot for Sunday brunch.  Check out their website for hours of operation. 


KinFolk

One of our favorite grab-and-go options in Charleston!  Small dining room and some outdoor seating available.  The star of Kinfolk is the meats.  Think southern smokehouse brisket, slow-cooked ribs, and roadside chicken shack with the best, fried chicken.  Tasty seasonal sides and soft-serve ice cream round out the menu.  Open Monday thru Sunday 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.  No reservations.


Stono Market and Tomato Shed Cafe

Farmer Pete Ambrose and Babs Ambrose pay homage to the legacy of Johns Island in this popular market and eatery.  Started as an open-air market selling their farm produce, the “Tomato Shed” evolved into a full-service restaurant serving lunch and dinner a few nights a week.  The down-home atmosphere and casual setting remind us of eating lunch with grandma.  Open Tuesday through Saturday.  Check for hours of operation.


Tattooed Moose

Featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins and Dives this popular casual eatery features the famous Duck Club and french fries cooked in duck fat.  A great outdoor bar and picnic table seating are perfect for bringing the pups.
