Kiawah Island Club Amenities

The Beach Club, designed by Robert A. M. Stern, opened in 1993. Members can lounge on the beach or around three pools (heated junior Olympic, adult and baby). Facilities include a lounge, dining room, men's and women's lockers and the seasonal Summerhouse Grille. Recent renovations completed Spring 2020!!

The River Course, Kiawah's first private golf course, opened in 1995. Tom Fazio designed the par 72, 7,039 yard layout in a series of "clusters" surrounding Bass Pond and the Kiawah River. A practice range, putting greens and caddies are available.

The River Course Club House, designed by Shope Reno Wharton Associates, opened in 1996. It houses a full service golf shop, dining and grill rooms, a living room, veranda, men's and women's locker facilities, state of the art fitness center and two red clay tennis courts.

Cassique, the Club's second course, opened in 2000. Designed by five-time British Open champion, Tom Watson, the par 72, 6,960-yard layout recalls classic links courses of Ireland and Scotland. A practice range, putting greens and caddies are available.

The Cassique Club House, also designed by Shope Reno Wharton, opened in 2001. The clubhouse features Voysey's, a stand alone restaurant and pub, as well as rooms for private events, a full service golf shop, and expansive men's and women's locker facilities.

The Sports Pavilion at Cassique, houses and outdoor swimming complex, four clay tennis courts, expanded fitness center with a multipurpose room for racket sports and aerobic activities.
Sasanqua, the Kiawah Island Club's day spa, opened in 2003. Located next to the River Course Club House, it has six treatment rooms overlooking the Kiawah River; men's and women's wet areas with steam room, sauna, whirlpool, outdoor meditation area, full service salon, and retail area featuring signature products and works from local artisans.

Club Cottages are reserved for Club Members and their guests. The three cottages sit on a private drive overlooking Bass Creek. Each is handsomely decorated overstuffed couches, rough-hewn ceiling timbers, stone fireplaces and furnished decks.

Marsh House exclusivly serves both Kiawah Island Club Members and property owners of Ocean Park. Featuring an infinity pool, grill and bar, the new Marsh House offers a diversity of indoor, outdoor, covered and uncovered areas for eating, drinking and relaxing - beside a fireplace, atop a raised deck, or by a bar overlooking the marsh.

The Golf Learning Center is a digital practice range located at Cassique. Golf pros will work to assess players skill set, improve swing and provide recommendations to improve overall golf game.
GoKiawah is designed to unite club members with common interests through inspired events. Think cocktail cruises, kayak and boat tours, and kids adventure camps. GoKiawah offers fun for all ages - adults, children and family activities to enjoy.

The Biz Hub opened in 2014, offering a private office space for Club Members to utilize for business purposes. Located in Freshfields, it includes private offices, state of the art conference room, WiFi and administrative support.

Cassique Boat House and Kayak Launch is available for members and their guests. Single and tandem kayaks, as well as SUP boards are available to explore the lowcountry shoreline, creeks and rivers.

The Sporting Club is located just off island in an 885-acre plantation. Designed by Marty Fisher, it offers a challenging ten station sporting clay course with a full time shooting professional. Members are supplied with guns, protective eyewear and ear coverings.
