Here’s What to Know About Holy City Sailing

  • Holy City Sailing’s Captain

Captain Chad Steward of Holy City Sailing is a seasoned navigator of Charleston’s waters and a long-time John’s Island resident. He embarked on his first solo sail at the age of 7. He has since raced sailboats all over the United States and in the Caribbean. He holds a USCG Master license and has taught hundreds of people how to sail. Captain Chad’s experience makes Holy City Sailing a great choice!

  • Charter Options at Holy City Sailing

Bohicket boat day tours are popular options here. Typical charter options aboard Holy City Sailing’s Beneteau 373 include 3-hour morning or afternoon sails for $390, or their popular Seabrook Island area sunset cruise for $430. All tours accommodate up to six passengers. If you’d like to extend your trip, you can do so at $100 per hour. In addition, because the Beneteau 373 is virtually silent, you’ll be able to hear the dolphins communicating right underneath the boat!

During the 4-hour Bohicket Marina sailing charters, the vessel can tow a dinghy and take guests to Botany Bay, which is just south of Kiawah and Seabrook Islands. There, passengers can enjoy a private walk on the beach! They also offer a 2-day trip to Charleston Harbor. With this option, guests spend the night on the boat at the Charleston City Marina and the crew returns the next morning to take them back to Bohicket. This is an ideal choice for the most adventurous of guests!

  • What to Expect Aboard a Holy City Sailboat Excursion

Holy City Sailing provides guests with glassware, ice, mixers, soft drinks and bottled water. Custom excursions even feature delicious food from Lokal Seabar.
