The transition of aging is personal to her as a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. She brings humor, pathos and evidence-based strategies to us to explore our ‘second half’ with resilience, meaning and grace.

Navigating life after the passing of a loved one can leave us isolated and anxious. Recognized resilience expert and author Maria Trozzi has treated grieving adults for over thirty years and believes grief can transform our lives.

About Maria
Maria Trozzi is a distinguished author and clinician widely recognized for her expertise in loss, transitions, and resilience. She has captivated audiences as a speaker and lecturer on various platforms, including many national television shows such as The Early Show, Good Morning America, and The Today Show.
Maria was a professor at Boston University School of Medicine for thirty-four years. She has lectured to health care providers, educators and parents in all fifty states, sharing her insights on how we can face life’s typical stressors and developmental transitions with enhanced capacity to transform; her expertise has been sought in the aftermath of national crises, including 9/11, hurricane Katrina, the Marathon bombing, Extortion 17 (Navy Seal) community.
Kiawah Heart is an educational 501(c) 3 non profit who’s mission it is to bring health and wellness in formation and inspiration to the inter community of Kiawah Island, Seabrook Island, Kiawah River, KRE and nearby residents. Kiawah Heart has a special focus on encouraging vibrant longevity whilst building deeper community connection.
