Charleston Restaurant Week
This is one of the most anticipated weeks in the South Carolina Lowcountry! From January 9 - 19th, local restaurants offer prix fixe lunch / dinner menus, priced at 20 - 50 dollars. Whether you are craving something sweet, savory, or anything in between, this one-of-a-kind event will please every palate. This is an affordable way to sample the Holy City’s foodie scene. Start the year off with some good laughs at the premier comedy event of the Southeast. January 15 - 18th offers the 17th annual Charleston Comedy Festival, showcasing the country's most talented comedians. The 2020 event will be bigger than years past with more shows and venues - offering stand up, sketch and improv performances.
6th Annual Charleston Jazz Festival
There’s no better time to check out Charleston's thriving jazz scene. The Charleston Jazz Festival runs January 23 - 26th, offering a wide variety of jazz styles from Charleton’s best talent, famous jazz legends and up and coming artists. Count on some swing, salsa, blues and more!
Lowcountry Oyster Festival
Head over to Boone Hall on January 26th from 10 am - 5 pm and enjoy winters most celebrated seafood. This “top 20 Southeast Event” is the WORLD’s largest oyster festival! The charitable fundraiser includes shucking, oyster eating contests, live music, wine, beer, street food and children’s area.
