Typically, this time of the year is perfect because humidity hasn't taken over yet and the nights are ideal for cozy bonfires. February varies year to year, and you can even experience temperatures as high as the 80s occasionally. You'll enjoy sunny afternoons as well as overcast days.

  • Charleston Gardens and Parks

Downtown Charleston boasts an incredible list of parks and squares to visit. The White Point Garden is believed to be one of the U.S's oldest pubic parks, while the Waterfront Park is an award-winning and modern space. On Kiawah Island, you'll find pristine nature and opportunities to view wildlife. The Heron Park Nature Center, Marsh Island Park, and Kiawah Beachwalker Park are great spots to visit and enjoy the scenery.

On Kiawah Island, there are about 30 miles of paved bike paths and 10 miles of flat bike-able beach to cruise. And while Seabrook Island doesn't have as many bike paths, you can still ride all throughout the island. Book a bike rental and explore the Lowcountry on two wheels!

Is there ever a bad time to tee off in Charleston? We didn't think so. February weather makes golfing extra comfortable, especially when your tee-time is in the afternoon.
